According to the Police, Mrs. Anisulowo was rescued at Gbegbelawo village, a suburb of Olorunda town, located in Yewa North local government of the state.

Speaking to Premium Times, the Ogun State Command Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said that the 65-year-old was rescued at about 7.00pm.
Adejobi said two of suspected kidnappers of the former minister were arrested during the rescue operation.
Mrs. Anisulowo was returning from her farm in Sawonjo in Yewa South local government area of the state on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, when she was whisked away by the kidnappers, who later demanded N200 million ransom.
However, after unsuccessful search for the victim, the Police had on Monday, May 2, offered aN5 million reward for information leading to the former minister’s rescue.
