Thieves go viral after stealing hundreds of gallons of ice cream

Police say the culprits steal the high-end ice cream cartons and resell them to stores in the city.

In all, they've stolen 1,249 packages.

In February, police busted seven thieves for shoplifting incidents, including one of $1,683 (500 thousand Naira) of ice cream.

This is not the first time thieves will steal trivial things like ice cream, early this year, 2 men from Liverpool pleaded guilty to stealing 9 million Naira worth of biscuits.
