The woman, Samiha Tawfiq Awad, recalled how she saw Jesus when she was lying on the ground after the explosion.
"I remember that I saw Jesus on the ceiling when I was lying on the ground after the explosion,"
"I would have been willing to die for Jesus," she continued, "but the fact that He kept me alive so miraculously tells me that He wants me to live."
The twin suicide bombings which happened at St. Peterand Paul's Church in Cairo according to reports left 24 Christians dead and 49 injured.
Awad was among the many women who were close to the explosion and suffered severe disfigurement to their faces.
She said she was sitting in the women section of one of the churches when the suicide bombers detonated their explosives.
Awad says she has forgiven the bombers
Christian Headlines reports that Awad was so disfigured from the bombing that she was barely recognizable.
However, despite the tragedy, Awad says Jesus allowed to pull through and even gave her the grace to forgive the perpetrators.
