Sea lion spotted visiting gift shop

The picture of the Sea lion went viral after it was posted on Facebook.

The picture shows the curious animal walking around The Cave Store gift shop in La Jolla as shop employees gathered around.

"Check out the security camera footage of our sea lion customer!" a post on the shop's Facebook page read.

The sea lion reportedly entered the store from a cave inside the beachside intended to let customers walk to and from the ocean.

Staff eventually guided the unexpected guest back into the sea.
