The baby girl born 10 days ago in Yobe State with her heart outside her chest has died.

Baby Aisha Mustapha, died in Maiduguri today, June 14, 2016 following a severe medical condition affecting her heart ( Ectopia Cordis ).

She was due to be taken to the University of Enugu Teaching Hospital’s Cardio-Thoracic Center today.
Governor Ibrahim Geidam of Yobe state had on Monday accepted to foot the medical bill of N2.5 Million required for surgical operation.
