President Jonathan in Bayelsa for Oronto Douglas' funeral (Photos)

President Goodluck Jonathan flew into Bayelsa today, May 2, as one of his loyalist and aides, Oronto Douglas, was laid to rest.

Jonathan sat with the family of the deceased - his wife and children at the funeral service in Yenagoa.

Douglas, 48, was the President's adviser on Research, Documentation and Strategy.

He died at the State House Clinic in Abuja on Thursday, April 9, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
