Man escapes death after he ran across railway tracks

He was caught on CCTV crossing the tracks in Melbourne, Australia, and did not seem to notice the fast-approaching train.

Luckily for him, he was able to jump out of the way just in time.

The incident happened earlier in the week and prompted the train service to issue a safety warning.

Over the past year, there have been 455 "near miss" train death in Australia.
