Woman finds dead Frog on the cucumber she bought

A shopper who bought a cucumber to make a healthy green smoothie was disgusted when she found a dead frog squished inside the wrapper.

Sareena Rai, 28, bought the cucumber so that she could make  a super-healthy drink but, as she was leaving the store, she noticed a little frog had been flattened inside the plastic wrapping of the cucumber.

Luckily, she was allowed to swap the cucumber for a fresh product. But she said the incident left her feeling 'sick for days'.

She said: 'I'm vegan so it couldn't have happened to a worse person: I'm a massive animal lover.'

'You expect to see little bugs or flies on vegetables you buy, but not a whole squashed frog. It was really disgusting.'

She added: 'I'm really glad I spotted it before I put it in my smoothie or before I got home.'
