The commissioner told newsmen that the land, located at Fufore Local Government Area, had been handed over to African National Development Programme (ANDP), who would construct the houses for victims of Boko Haram insurgencies.
Mijinyawa said that the UN High Commission for Refugees was already building 250 houses for victims of the insurgencies in Maiha Local Government Area.
He said that the Presidential Committee on North East Initiative (PCNI) has also requested to intervene in the reconstruction of houses in areas affected by the insurgency.
“We are getting support from various ends; this is good for us and the IDPs,” he said.
