Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet kick off their new ABA League campaign on Sunday at 6 PM away at FMP in Zeleznik, with Ibon Navarro boasting a nearly full-strength squad for the regional opener.

Djurisic, Davidovac, and Baldwin have returned to full-intensity training, while Medarevic is set to make his debut in the red-and-white jersey against FMP. The only player unavailable for selection is Johnathan Motley, who will miss the clash due to a hamstring injury.

Zvezda head to Zeleznik fresh off a crucial EuroLeague victory over Efes, but Navarro anticipates a completely different and far from easy challenge.

"We know they are a very tough side, especially on their home court. They have experienced players who will certainly find extra motivation for a game like this. On the other hand, we will look to get some players into a rhythm and keep improving game by game, just as we've said before." - Ibon Navarro

One of the players expected to make an impact in Zeleznik is Ognjen Dobric. His high energy gave Zvezda a vital boost against Efes, and he is expected to play a similar role in the ABA League opener.

"We know a tricky game awaits us; FMP will be motivated. It's the start of the season, and they always play aggressively with a lot of energy. It's up to us to put in a solid performance and make progress step by step, from game to game."

The red-and-whites will thus launch their ABA League campaign on the road against a side well known for being particularly difficult to beat on home court.
