Partizan's star guard, Carlik Jones, offered a concise summary of their recent game.

"It was tough. I think it was an ugly game for us, but overall, a good win. We didn't want it to come down to the last few seconds, but I'm glad we came out on top in the end." - Carlik Jones

He admitted that intentionally missing the final free throw wasn't easy.

"Yeah, yeah. I was a little nervous. I don't know how to intentionally miss a shot. It looked like the ball was going in, luckily it bounced out, and one of our bigs grabbed it, making it pretty tough for them to even get a shot off. I was just focused on making the first one. I understood that making the first one practically sealed the game for us, and missing the second one denied them the chance to call a timeout, which they could have done if I'd made it. So, the goal was to miss the second. I missed it, and if they had hit a full-court shot, we would have just had to pat them on the back and say it was a good shot." - Carlik Jones

On the team's slow start and fatigue.

"Poor. I guess it's also how we approach the game. Maybe a little fatigue. You know, I take a lot of responsibility for how we start games, whether it's bringing energy, turnovers, and things like that. So, in a way, I take some of the blame for that. However, we've played a lot of games in the last couple of weeks, so we just need some rest and to consolidate. We have another game on Friday, so two days to recover. We'll try to take care of our bodies and see what we can apply better from this game into Friday's." - Carlik Jones

Regarding his agent's Instagram post amidst rumors of his departure from Partizan.

"I mean, I've said it before, I'm happy here. And I think everyone else likes that I'm here. Just don't pay attention to my agent. My agent... he's got a few screws loose, so to speak. But no, he likes to joke around. He shouldn't have posted that, especially putting that team from the neighborhood on it. But I think it's all just games on his part. I don't think it's anything serious. So, I wouldn't pay attention to it." - Carlik Jones

Carlik also discussed Partizan's 4-1 EuroLeague record since his return.

"I'm happy. That's a good statistic, good data. I'm glad I can help my teammates string together some wins. Although it's a bit difficult, we're in an unenviable situation where... I guess to outsiders, those wins aren't too important because we can't make the playoffs. We just want to keep winning, fight until the end of the season, and get as many wins as we can." - Carlik Jones

On his relationship with Nick Calathes.

"He's crazy. I don't think you can even practice the kind of passes he throws. I think that just comes with experience. But he just makes the game easier for so many. Sometimes we're sitting on the bench and we're like, 'What the hell?' Like, no way we saw that, none of us on the bench expected a pass like that, but he's an incredible player. He's a great leader. He talks to us in the locker room, shares his experience and leadership. He's our true veteran, and I think his contribution is huge." - Carlik Jones

On Sterling Brown's dip in form.

"I mean, it happens. It happens to the best players. I think one thing that never fluctuates with him is his energy and effort. Tonight, for example, he made a big step up defensively. Steals, rebounds, pressuring the guard who was hitting all his shots. We usually try to save Sterling for the opponent's best player. So, even when his shot isn't falling, he finds ways to positively impact the game. That's why I'd say, just stick with him, trust him. He showed his skills and what kind of player he is last year, and he showed it at the beginning of this one too. Sometimes you hit a slump, shots just don't go in, but I'd say he needs support, because I trust him 100 percent." - Carlik Jones
