The Bavarians stood no chance at the Belgrade Arena, suffering a heavy defeat just as Maccabi did before them.

Zvezda opened up a commanding 17-point lead by halftime (48:31), and the visitors failed to mount any comeback, sliding to their seventh defeat of the season alongside two victories.

Bayern head coach Anton Gavel shared his thoughts following the game.

"Congratulations to Navarro and his team. We were soft in every aspect of the game, vastly inferior to Zvezda. We did not play as a team; we simply cannot look like this in the EuroLeague," Anton Gavel stated.

He stressed that Zvezda were clearly the better side on the night, noting that he kept fighting from the sidelines because his pride would not let his team perform with such an attitude.

"Zvezda played a great game, but we made things easy for them—too many offensive rebounds, too many fast breaks. We need to look in the mirror, and I am first in line. I cannot allow my team to play like this; I must ensure we perform better on the floor. That's who I am, and I will always strive to do so," said Anton Gavel.
