Hull City midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath was involved in a car crash on Thursday – on the exact same road where teammate Sorba Thomas had an accident just 20 days earlier, reports The Telegraph. Both incidents occurred on Millhouse Woods Lane, the route leading to Hull City's training ground, which has a 30 mph speed limit. Humberside Police confirmed that officers and emergency services attended a single-vehicle collision on Thursday morning, with no injuries reported.
According to The Telegraph, the 23-year-old Gourna-Douath's vehicle overturned onto its side following the crash. The 27-year-old Sorba Thomas previously walked away uninjured from his crash on September 11, where photos showed his car flipped onto its roof on a residential street. Hull City have enjoyed an encouraging start to the campaign and currently sit eighth in the Premier League. The Tigers host Everton in their next fixture on October 11.
