The 20-year-old forward is now headed to the Ligue 1 club, currently managed by Portuguese coach Hugo Oliveira. While official figures remain undisclosed, the operation could reach €10 million for 70% of the player's economic rights.

Following their usual policy, Real Madrid retained a percentage of the player's rights. Additionally, the sporting directorate agreed to clauses for a right of first refusal and buy-back options, ensuring they maintain control over the forward's future.

Jacobo Ortega was a pivotal figure in last season's UEFA Youth League triumph, scoring 18 goals across the U19 (Juvenil A), Real Madrid C, and Castilla (B team) squads. He was particularly noted for his physical prowess and clinical finishing.

Despite strong interest from La Liga clubs, such as Elche, the player opted for the French offer. Ortega will now make the leap to professional football with the ambition of establishing himself among Europe's elite.
