The wave of burglaries targeting Premier League footballers has claimed another high-profile victim. The home of Nottingham Forest and England midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White was recently broken into, according to his fiancée, South African model and influencer Britney De Villiers.

The break-in occurred while neither the 26-year-old player, his partner, nor their two young children — Greyson, born in 2023, and Hayes, born in August 2025 — were inside the property. Despite the house being empty, the psychological shock of having their privacy violated led De Villiers to speak out on Instagram, where she shared her distress with her followers.

"I wasn't going to share this publicly, but our house was burgled a few days ago and, after hearing of another case since, I felt it was important to warn others. It's incredibly unsettling knowing houses are being targeted," Britney began.

Visibly shaken, the content creator urged caution and stressed that replacing material possessions does not take away the trauma of a home invasion.

"Please be on high alert, make sure security systems are on whether you are in the house or not, and report any suspicious activity. Thankfully no one was home when it happened and material things can be replaced, but it's a horrible feeling knowing someone has violated your home, especially when you have young kids. Stay safe and look after each other," she wrote.

Together since 2019 and engaged since June 2025 following a romantic proposal on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, the pair are one of the most high-profile couples off the pitch in the UK.

The incident comes at a time when the rash of raids on footballers' mansions continues to raise alarm among British authorities. Bruno Fernandes was among the victims, and two members of an international gang were recently handed prison sentences after travelling from Italy to target the homes of players including Alexander Isak, Matheus Cunha, Leon Bailey, and Neil Etheridge while they were playing away from home.
