Hilarious Charles Barkley moment: Legend fails signature NBA team-guessing challenge three times in a row
The hosts of the popular show Inside the NBA on ESPN once again put Charles Barkley to the test with his signature challenge: correctly naming the current teams of selected NBA players.
The legendary analyst suffered a complete meltdown on his first attempt, failing to identify the correct team for all five players: Moritz Wagner, Buddy Hield, Taurean Prince, Mo Bamba, and Aaron Wiggins.
The Hall of Famer was then handed a trick question about Garrett Temple, whom Barkley had repeatedly sent to the wrong clubs on previous shows. This time Barkley was prepared, knowing Temple had transitioned into coaching, but he still failed to name the specific team.
Barkley argued it was unfair to test him so early in the season. Shaquille O'Neal then challenged his colleague to take the exact same test with the same players once more. Amid roaring laughter in the studio, the 63-year-old former NBA superstar managed just 2 out of 5 correct answers.
To cap off the segment, the crew ran the quiz for a third consecutive time, where Barkley delivered his best performance of the night, finishing with 3 out of 5 right.
