Speaking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, renowned insider Marc Stein revealed that the Mavericks have informed rival teams they have zero interest in entertaining offers or even fielding calls regarding their star point guard.

"The chatter surrounding Kyrie Irving is completely bizarre to me. I've been writing about this since June. Back in June, the Mavs started telling other teams: 'Kyrie Irving is not available—you can call and ask, but we're not putting him on the block.' Yet over the past few days, the outside noise—which is really just media chatter not grounded in any real talks—the trade speculation around Kyrie has ramped up. And I'm thinking, 'Guys, the Mavs are 4-2.' If they were 1-5, or even 2-4, you could maybe understand it. But things have started so well early on, and the Mavericks keep telling teams that they don't even want to take those calls." — Marc Stein

As a reminder, Irving tore his ACL a year and a half ago, and since returning to the court, he has been averaging 21.4 points per game.
