The EuroBasket U18 final is proving to be a tense affair. Both the "Young Eagles" (Serbia) and the "Young Dragons" (Slovenia) are playing tough, refusing to let their opponents gain momentum, but so far, Slovenia appears to have the upper hand.
Coach Nemanja Jovanović was forced to call a timeout after a Slovenian basket, and the Serbian huddle was quite heated.
One of the players let out a colorful expletive during the timeout, taking responsibility for the team's performance. It's unclear who exactly said it, but one of the young men certainly showed character and leadership.
"We're playing like cowards, starting with me! Come on!"
Unfortunately, that outburst didn't significantly help the Serbian squad, who are trailing at halftime. The score stands at 40:32 in favor of the "Young Dragons."
