Couple caught in intimate moment as they reunite following car crash
Photo of a couple who, after surviving an horrific car crash, were later reunited at the hospital, has been melting the hearts of whoever sees it.
Arika Stovall and partner, Hunter Hanks, both aged 21, had reportedly survived the terrible car crash their vehicle had been involved in after Hunter's truck went off the road, slamming into a bridge, on January 1, 2016.
The couple were pictured sharing an intimate moment at the hospital following the car crash they had survived, after all the uncertainties and fears of the time in between the accident and their arrival at the hospital.
The couple who hail from Nashville, Tennessee, had their photos taken by a friend who had been with them at the hospital, capturing their reunion as well as other survival photos which were shared on Facebook.
The heart warming photos have been shared over 77, 000 times on Facebook alone since they were posted.
Commenting on their survival, Stovall commented via Facebook, saying:
“I'm overwhelmed at how little damage was done to Hunter and I in a wreck that should have chopped our bodies in half.
"When we were both lying in our beds in the ER he (Hanks) found a way to come protect my heart and give me a hug.”
Savannah Gaines, a close friend of the couple who is credited with capturing the intimate, touching moment, shared by the couple, revealed to CNN.
“It was unbelievable when they saw each other. I know them so well, and they love each other so much. They were completely blessed to walk away from that.”
Stovall went on to reveal that she had been visited by someone she refers to as a "guardian angel" during those dark moments following the crash, describing him as a man with a big white beard.
“I jumped out of the car, ran over to Hunters side and just looked at this man. From that moment until Hunter was cut & lifted out of the truck, I believe with my whole heart that looking at this man helped me to literally believe in that moment, that Hunter was next to me on the road."
“I don't know if it was a hallucination or me unconsciously dreaming or a glimpse of heaven...but all I knew in that moment was that Hunter was safe with me.
“This man..looking at him for a short moment..helped me not witness Hunter being peeled out of the truck. I believe if I saw that I would have had a heart attack.”
These heart warming photos would definitely have you believing in love, life and fate.
