The clause allowing Barcelona to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United for €30 million has reportedly expired. According to "Cadena Ser," this option was valid until March 31st, meaning the Englishman's future is no longer in the Catalan club's hands. However, "Sport" claims that representatives for the player himself have denied this information.
Regardless, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has already stated that the club will negotiate with Manchester United for more favorable terms to keep the Englishman in Hansi Flick's squad. It's rumored that the Catalans want to extend Rashford's loan for another season. English media, however, insist that the Red Devils are firmly rejecting such a scenario, preferring the player to return to Old Trafford. They believe that after his strong performances for Barcelona, they can sell him for a higher fee than the aforementioned clause amount this summer.
AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain continue to monitor Rashford's situation closely.
