Hapoel Tel Aviv, having lost Chris Jones to Crvena Zvezda, didn't waste much time in finding a new point guard for the Israeli Reds.

Tomas Satoransky, reportedly unhappy at Barcelona, was seeking a new club. While there were rumors of negotiations with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, news quickly emerged that the Czech international would be joining Vasilije Micić and his teammates next season.

He's a fitting replacement for the Serbian point guard. With him on the court, the Reds gain composure and discipline. Although he's nearing his 35th birthday, the Czech international still has plenty to offer. This season, Satoransky averaged 7.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. His performance in the play-in game against Crvena Zvezda, where he scored 11 points and dished out seven assists at the Palau Blaugrana, is particularly memorable. Hapoel has also signed Amir Coffey, while Elijah Bryant and Antonio Blakeney have extended their contracts.
