Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has been named La Liga's Coach of the Month for September, the league's official website announced.

The German tactician guided his side through an impressive run over the past month, racking up four convincing victories against Valencia (5-0), Levante (4-2), Racing Santander (7-2), and Sevilla (3-1). Flick beat fellow nominees Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid and Real Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini to claim the award.
