The seven-time world champion currently sits second in the drivers' standings, enjoying his most competitive period in some time during his second season with Ferrari.

Despite securing only one victory so far this year, Hamilton has consistently finished in the top six in every race. This places him 50 points behind championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who has six wins but also two non-scores.

“The first half [of the season] has been incredible, considering we were probably three or four tenths down on the straights in terms of speed and power,” Hamilton stated. “I know the guys are working hard to bring improvements in that direction. We’ve been introducing upgrades weekend after weekend. Hopefully, we’ll have more in the second half, and we’ll just keep pushing. I think the second half will be stronger. Typically, the latter part [of the season] is a stronger period for me. So, as I said, I’m really going to use this time to recharge and try to come back stronger, in better shape, and better prepared mentally,” the Briton added.
