Haaland Teams Up with Famous DJ, Dominates Music Charts: "This Wasn't on My Bingo Card"
Years ago, the star striker, alongside his friends, recorded a song titled "Kygo Jo." Their musical group, Flowkingz, even filmed a music video for the track, featuring a young Erling Haaland grilling and singing his part. This video recently resurfaced and went viral on social media during the World Cup.
Recently, DJ Kygo decided to create a unique remix of the song. He had promised this for some time, and the World Cup proved to be the perfect moment. The track, a collaboration between two Norwegian superstars, instantly became a hit in their home country, soaring to the top spot on the Spotify Top 50 chart.
"Haaland, who is Norway's number one artist, was really not on my 2026 bingo card," the popular DJ wrote in an Instagram post to his nearly 5.5 million followers. He also shared a photo of himself on the phone with the 25-year-old striker.
Despite his musical success, Erling Haaland is currently fully focused on the most crucial international match of his career to date. A victory against England would see Norway reach the World Cup semi-finals for the first time in history.
On Saturday evening, the Norwegian goal-scorer will face several familiar faces on the pitch. Defenders Marc Guéhi and John Stones, former Manchester City teammates from last season, will be among those lining up against him at the Miami stadium.
