Former Haas Formula 1 team principal Guenther Steiner has predicted that Andrea Kimi Antonelli will surpass at least Sebastian Vettel's tally of world championships. Antonelli is on the verge of securing his maiden world title, needing just two points in Mexico City to wrap up the crown. Doing so would make him the youngest world champion in Formula 1 history at just 20 years old, breaking the record set by Vettel in 2010.

"I'm absolutely confident that Kimi will surpass Vettel," Steiner explained on The Red Flags podcast. "Vettel was good, but he was also in the right place at the right time. You saw that once he moved to Ferrari, it didn't really work out anymore. Sebastian was very good, but he wasn't an exceptional talent like Max Verstappen or Kimi. Yes, I believe Kimi will win more than Vettel's four titles."
Antonelli is currently competing in his second full season in Formula 1 and took the lead in the championship after back-to-back wins in China and Japan. He has continued his dominant run since, tallying nine victories and winning half of the races held so far this season.
