According to an uncle of the deceased, Mohammed Isa, who posted the sad news on his Facebook wall, the late Hafsat was getting ready for her wedding in December 2016, when the sad incident occurred.

This is what Isa wrote on his wall:

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un...I never thought I will be awakened today with the sad news of your sudden death due to a ghastly motor accident along Kaduna-Abuja highway.

She was due to complete her NYSC today and get married by December, but Allah (SWA) had other plans for her."

"May Allah accept your beautiful soul, my dear niece, Hafsat Isa. Allah ya jikan ki ya yafe maki, ya saki cikin yan matan aljannah."
