The hosts started brightly, with Brennan Johnson finding himself in promising positions twice early on, but his efforts sailed wide of the target.

However, Dean Henderson was called into action in the 44th minute, producing a superb reflex save to deny Konstantinos Mavropanos' dangerous header.

In the 78th minute, Jefferson Lerma unleashed a well-struck shot, but goalkeeper Mads Hermansen was alert and made the save.

Ismaila Sarr thought he had broken the deadlock for the Eagles in the 82nd minute, only for his goal to be swiftly disallowed for offside.
