FIFA President arrives in Lagos for FIFA Executive Football Summit

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is in Nigeria for the FIFA Executive Football Summit.

Infantino, who arrived in Lagos on Monday, February 19, 2018, first visited the Lagos Government House, Alausa, Ikeja.

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick led the FIFA boss to meet Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Also on the entourage were the CAF President Ahmad Ahmad and FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura.

Infantino expressed excitement for being in Lagos and said it was an honour to meet Ambode and the Nigerian team.

Infantino also attended the first edition of the NFF Awards that took place on on Monday, February 19.

The award ceremony held on Monday night  at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island.
