Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Lando Norris from McLaren rounded out the top three. Leclerc secured second place with a decisive move on lap 18, completing the overtake at the iconic Tarzan corner.

Heavy rain began to fall towards the very end of the sprint, but it didn't alter the outcome of a race that saw minimal overtakes. The only other successful move at the front was by championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who gained a position immediately after the start to move into fourth.

Lewis Hamilton, driving for Ferrari, attempted to challenge Max Verstappen of Red Bull for sixth place but ultimately couldn't find a way past the Dutchman's robust defense before the race concluded.
