Former Ogun State Governor Returns To PDP

The former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Daniel re-joined the PDP today, October 8, 2014 after a series of reconciliation meetings with party leaders, Premium Times reports.

The ex-governor's return was announced at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Daniel was suspended by the PDP for anti-party activities after his defection to the People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN), before the 2011 general elections.
