Jeremie Frimpong has sustained yet another injury this season and will be sidelined for an unspecified period, making him unavailable for Arne Slot. The right-back came on for the Netherlands at halftime in their friendly against Ecuador but was substituted just 12 minutes later. Following the match, national team coach Ronald Koeman confirmed Frimpong's injury. The Dutchman has already suffered three muscle injuries since the start of his debut campaign at Liverpool, with the last one forcing him to miss five matches for the Merseyside club.
This situation is particularly delicate for Reds manager Arne Slot, who lacks another natural right-back. Liverpool faces two crucial upcoming fixtures: a FA Cup quarter-final clash against Manchester City, immediately followed by an away trip to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, also at the quarter-final stage.
