Slater secured one victory this season, alongside seven additional podium finishes and three pole positions in qualifying. Freddie took the lead in the standings in Hungary and built a significant advantage over Hugo Ugochukwu. However, he ultimately lost the championship battle in Madrid over the weekend, struggling in qualifying and subsequently finishing outside the points.

Slater is a product of Audi's young driver development program and boasts titles in four championships: Ginetta Junior (2023), Formula 4 Italy (2024), Formula 4 UAE (2024), and Formula Regional Europe (2025). 2026 marked his first full season in Formula 3 with Trident.
