After a slight delay, Formula 1 organizers have finally unveiled the 2027 World Championship calendar. The season will once again feature 24 rounds, with ten of these including sprint races.
The campaign is set to kick off with two consecutive Middle Eastern races: the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 14th, followed by the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix a week later. Two returning races after a prolonged absence, the Portuguese Grand Prix and the Turkish Grand Prix, will take place on June 20th and October 3rd, respectively.
As previously announced, the Barcelona Grand Prix and the Dutch Grand Prix will not be part of the 2026 calendar. The Circuit de Catalunya race will now rotate with the Belgian Grand Prix, while Zandvoort organizers opted not to renew their contract, which expired after this year's event. The season finale is scheduled for December 12th in Abu Dhabi.
