Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has no intention of selling winger Vinicius Junior. The 79-year-old president of the Madrid giants has reportedly consulted with numerous individuals both inside and outside the club in recent days and has been advised to retain the Brazilian international.
"This is my job, leave it to me," Perez reportedly stated, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
The club chief is confident that the Brazilian international is a highly valuable asset to the club and that his contract will be extended. The winger's current deal with the 15-time European champions is set to expire in the summer of 2027.
Florentino Perez has unwavering faith in the player and is certain that Real Madrid can still achieve significant success with him. Perez himself wants to help Vinicius regain the form he displayed during previous periods of great success for the Madrid side. The personal bond between Perez and the winger has grown very strong in recent years. The widespread criticism directed at the player has come as a surprise to Florentino Perez, who believes wholeheartedly in the player's qualities both on and off the pitch, Marca further reports.
