Hansi Flick's Barcelona squad continues to impress under the German's leadership, and the start to this season has been more than promising.

"Mundo Deportivo" highlights another remarkable achievement by the Catalan coach. Since he took charge of Barcelona, his team has led the La Liga standings in 61 out of the 81 league matches he has overseen.

With this accomplishment, Flick has quickly entered the prestigious ranking of the five coaches with the most weeks at the top in the club's history.

Only four other legendary managers in Barcelona's history currently outrank the German: Pep Guardiola (87 times), Frank Rijkaard (85), Ernesto Valverde (80), and Rinus Michels (63). What's particularly impressive is that all of them achieved their results over significantly more seasons at the helm of the "Blaugranas" compared to the German specialist.

Flick has now surpassed other legendary Barcelona coaches. This includes Johan Cruyff, who led the Catalans for 59 rounds over eight seasons, and Louis van Gaal, who held the top spot for 58 rounds across four campaigns. Luis Enrique was at the helm for 55 rounds during his three seasons, while Englishman Terry Venables, who was a leader for 60 rounds during his three seasons as coach of the "Culés," was until recently in the top five for this achievement.

The German has surpassed them in just two full seasons and the beginning of a third, which speaks volumes about the relentless pace he has set at Barça. Flick is almost certain to soon overtake Rinus Michels, who is currently fourth in this ranking, having led the Catalans for 63 weeks.

Reaching third place will be more challenging, as Ernesto Valverde led for 80 rounds over three seasons, Frank Rijkaard for 85 over five seasons, and the leader of the ranking, Pep Guardiola, was at the top for 87 rounds during his four seasons.

Hansi Flick's Barcelona has demonstrated dominant form since the start of the season, establishing themselves at the top of the standings from the very first rounds.
