Ada Ada crooner Flavour has disclosed he will be releasing what should be his fifth studio album in a couple of months time.
"My album is coming out in two months, this is the first time I am saying it, you just caught me off guard," Flavour said, speaking to HipTV.
This implies we should expect a Flavour album between June and July 2017.
On longevity in the music business, the Highlife musician says he has already mapped out plans to be around for a long time to come, and has been prepping himself for it.
"It's all about hardwork and God, I just wanna be a musician, I don't wanna be an artist, it's gonna be a long time, I have prepared myself, and know what it's going to take for me to get there," he explained.
The superstar singer hasbeen about the music from the age of 13 as a drummer and keyboardist for a local church in hometown Enugu before transforming into a vocalist under the tutelage of a certain Mr Ordor who ran a music company Soundcity Communications.
Flavour has since honed his skills, as a singer and songwriter, and gone on to release four studio albums since his self-titled debut album "N'abania'' released in 2005. This was followed by ''Uplifted"(2010), "Blessed" (2012) and "Thankful" (2014).
Flavour has gone on to be a remarkable performer, getting nominated and winning so many laurels across various categories for his effort including Best Live Act MAMA 2014, Best Male Artist Western Africa at the 2016 All Africa Music Awards among others.
Flavour is billed among the top African musician headliners to perform at the One Africa Music Fest May 2013 happening in London at the SSE Arena, Wembley.
