Ruth David who is Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) head of women football posted a picture of the Flamingos alongside a message on her official Twitter account.

The message said, "Flamingos Apologise To Nigerians For Not Picking The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Uruguay 2018 Ticket."

"We Are Sorry, Please Forgive Us."

Super Falcons star forward Asisat Oshoala is disappointed that Nigeria’s Under 17 women team (Flamingos) has failed to qualify for the World Cup.

The Flamingos played a 2 – 2 draw against Cameroon in Benin City, and played another draw (1 - 1) against the Cameroonians in the away leg.

Oshoala who is the expressed her disappointment via a message on her official Twitter account.

She posted, “  No U-17 World Cup For us ......”
