Figo: Real Madrid's Season a Failure

Real Madrid legend Luis Figo has unequivocally stated that the club's season has been a failure, with the team poised to finish a second consecutive campaign without a single trophy.

“The reality is, it’s been a bad season. For Real Madrid, if you don’t win, the season is always considered negative. When titles are missing, it means things haven't gone well,” Figo told Marca.

The Portuguese icon acknowledged that one of the season's most significant moments was the coaching change, which saw Alvaro Arbeloa replace Xabi Alonso after only a few months at the helm.

“I don’t think he had enough time. We didn’t even have the chance to analyze the months he was here. It’s very complicated,” Figo mused.
