Ferran Torres: In these types of matches, victory is decided by the small details

Ferran Torres spoke after Paris Saint-Germain's 2-1 victory over Marseille in the first "Le Classique" of the season. The champions' summer signing scored yet another goal since his arrival, coming off the bench yesterday, a fact he didn't dwell on.

"I'm very happy. It was important for us and for our fans; this is one of the biggest matches of the season. We knew it would be tough. We gave it our all, and this is a great win for our supporters."

We are progressing with each passing game. We need to keep moving forward. It's essential to train, again and again. We had plenty of chances but lacked precision; we need to improve that.

You just have to seize your opportunity. Sometimes you get lucky and score, other times you don't. The only thing you can do is keep trying, over and over.

It doesn't matter whether you're a starter or not. The important thing is that when you come onto the pitch, you give everything for the team and try to help them.

In these types of matches, victory is decided by the small details. We tried to give our best. At the start of the second half, we had more chances and managed to find a breakthrough. Marseille got back into the game, but we managed to score a second goal.

This is a massive match in France. I felt the atmosphere more yesterday at "Campus," where our fans came to support us during training. We also felt a great atmosphere here and we won," Torres stated.
