Actress, Fathia Balogun, has added to the list of her numerous recognition, after reportedly receiving honours for the Lead Actress in a Film at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards.

The award show was held in New York, United States, on September 4, 2016.
Other Nigerian acts mentioned in the category include Omoni Oboli, Adesua Etomi, Genevieve Nnaji, Nse Ikpe-Etim and Belinda Effah.
Balogun won the award due to her role in the movie, "Ishanna", which featured top acting professionals like Muyiwa Ademola, Kenny George, Babatunde Usman and Morenikeji Alausa.

Expressing her excitement after winning the award, Balogun said, “I am honoured to have this recognition bestowed on me at this level,”
