Rapper to release mini-movie 'Soldier' with Simi [Trailer]

'Soldier' is one of the singles off his sophomore album ''Stories that touch'' which has been receiving good airplays and reviews since it dropped on 17 November 2015. The single features Simi a fast rising singer.

The trailer, a short musical film sees Simi being kidnapped and Falz as a sergeant on a mission to rescue her from an abductor played by Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon.

The video to the single is scheduled to be released on Sunday March 13, 2016.

Falz started music as a hobby in secondary school forming a music group with a friend called ''The school boys'' and in 2009 released a compilation of some songs they recorded into a mixtape titled ''Shakara: The Mixtape''.

In 2011 Falz released a single titled 'Waz Up Guy' before he went on to release 'High Class' and 'Currency' which gained him grounds in the Nigerian music industry.

The rapper dropped his first studio album in 2014 titled ''Waz Up Guy'' which received critical acclaim among music critics.

The rapper later in the year 2015  released his sophomore album titled ''Stories that touch'' which has received positive reviews from industry critics and music lovers alike.

Falz recently won an award for "Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series" at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards for his role as Segun in Funke Akindele’s TV series Jenifa's Diary.
