Osagie Alonge and Ayomide Tayo discuss the issues surrounding each award.

Starting with the MTV Europe Awards, where Wizkid was mistakenly awarded Best African Act, when Alikiba was the intended winner, he says credit has to be given to the organisers for owning up to their error.

"MTV is just being professional enough to come out own their mistake and give the right person the award it doesn't get better than that," Osagie explains.

On AFRIMA, the controversy was on those who really deserve the award not getting it, which affects the credibility of the show.

Osagie was of the opinion that maybe they need to re-strategize the concept of the awards.

On the Headies nomination, he addresses Tekno. Solidstar and Yung6ix's grievances, and his expectations from this year's Headies.

To wrap up this episode of #FactsOnly, Osagie says artists who do not get nominated at awards are not losers.

"Awards are judged by people, people have opinions which are biased,"Osagie says on artists not being nominated.

"You can never ever judge the true value of one's creativity and that's you always have an estimation of the best have Awards can always give you estimation but is not the true test."
