The Headies 2016 gets called into question by the music analysts in this year's edition of the award show.

Most of the awards given out were found questionable, such as the Next Rated awards and the attached prize it comes with.

The Soundcity MVP Awards 2016 got good commendation for their production quality as it came out on TV, but was criticized on some happenings that went down live in the hall, such as performances and presentation of awards.
