See the woman who poured hot water on 9-yr-old maid

A few days ago, Pulse brought you a report of a mother of one, Mrs Ifeoma Ibekwe who allegedly brutalised her nine-year-old housemaid, Chinwendu Precious, ending up by pouring hot water on the little girl.

Apart from scalding the girl which has landed her in the hospital where she is battling for her life, Ibekwe was also said to have used a pestle to hit the girl on the head. The girl's offence, according to what she told Punch reporters, was that her madam had accused her of stealing crayfish.

Though the woman who has a seven-month-old baby who has been charged to an Ogba Magistrates' Court for the assault has maintained her innocence by saying the girl poured the hot water on herself, some of her neighbours insist she committed the act as she has a penchant for maltreating the child, often denying her food and beating her up over every slight.

Hope justice would be served the poor child.
