Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz shared his emotions after Spain's 2-1 victory over Belgium in the World Cup quarter-finals. "La Furia Roja" secured a hard-fought win against the "Red Devils" with a late goal from Mikel Merino in the second half, capitalizing on an error by substitute goalkeeper Senne Lammens, who had replaced the injured Thibaut Courtois.

"It felt a bit unusual at the start. We knew it would be tough playing against such a strong team. As we always say, this team never gives up. We're getting used to Merino scoring late goals. The substitutes play a crucial role. These feelings are indescribable: hearing the anthem, seeing your people. Reaching the semi-finals with your compatriots, feeling the support of the entire country – there's nothing more wonderful. It's a unique feeling. Moments like these will stay with you forever," the player was quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

Ruiz opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the match. Spain will now face France in the tournament semi-finals. The match is scheduled for July 14th, kicking off at 10:00 PM.
