Arsenal midfielder Eberechi Eze is set to be sidelined for at least a month, according to the BBC. The 27-year-old sustained a calf injury during last week's 2-0 Champions League victory over Bayer Leverkusen. This injury forced him to miss the League Cup final, where Arsenal fell 2-0 to Manchester City, and also led to his withdrawal from the England national squad for upcoming friendly matches.

Scans on Eze have indicated an absence of four to six weeks, though he is scheduled for another scan by the end of this week, which will provide a more precise diagnosis. This season, the former Crystal Palace player has netted nine goals and provided six assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.

Arsenal remains in contention for three trophies. The team currently leads the Premier League and has reached the quarterfinals of both the Champions League and the FA Cup. The Gunners' next fixture is in the world's oldest club competition, where they will face Championship side Southampton on April 4th.
