Exclusive: Osetkowski's outrageous demands – wanted to fleece Partizan for 2.6 million euros!
Partizan has lost another player. Dylan Osetkowski has officially exercised his contract option and, as of Thursday, is a free agent. The German international was a point of contention within the black-and-whites last season. Željko Obradović publicly stated he didn't want him, and questions arose regarding a positive doping test for marijuana from his time with Unicaja.
He didn't see much playing time under Obradović, but he was an extremely important factor for Joan Peñarroya. However, he won't be staying, and we now reveal why.
According to Sportal, Osetkowski demanded a salary of 1.3 million euros per season. The two sides couldn't reach an agreement, making his departure inevitable. Furthermore, Osetkowski is still playing under a temporary measure, with the proceedings in Spain regarding his positive marijuana test yet to be concluded.
However, this won't significantly hinder him, as his agent Miško Ražnatović stated that he would secure a new contract as early as next week.
Dylan Osetkowski has exercised his contract option and officially become a free agent after informing the club of his decision. His new club will be confirmed next week. Miško Ražnatović
