The team departed their Campinas base for Brasilia capital city of Brazil on a 1 hour 30mins flight. After settling in at their hotel the team headed out straight to training at the Fire service authority sporting facility having missed a day of practice due to some in-House matters.

The boys looked sharp and focused with just injured Micheal Babatunde sitting out, having broken his arm in the Argentina match.

With Saturday and Sunday still available for training, coach Stephen Keshi and his assistants are left to work effortlessly to map out strategies in bringing down Didier Deschamp's France on Monday.

Nigeria and France have never met at this level, the only senior level encounter between both sides was a friendly in 2009, where the super eagles beat Le blue in their back yard by a single goal from the boots of Ike Uche. Monday's match will be played 1pm local time in Brasila, which is 5PM Nigerian time.
