Everton have no intention of parting easily with one of their most prized assets, slapping a hefty £80 million (around €93 million) price tag on defender Jarrad Branthwaite. Well aware of the intense interest surrounding the centre-back, the Merseyside outfit are standing firm on their valuation. According to Football Insider, Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool are monitoring the situation closely and plotting a swoop for his signature.

The Toffees rebuffed several approaches for the youngster during the summer transfer window and are reluctant to change their stance. The English defender is under a long-term contract until June 2030 and remains a vital cog in manager David Moyes' tactical plans.

The towering central defender came through the ranks at Carlisle United before making the switch to Everton in January 2020. Following productive loan spells at Blackburn Rovers and PSV Eindhoven, he established himself as a regular in the first team in 2023. Branthwaite has since racked up 101 appearances for the club across all competitions, contributing five goals and three assists. His impressive domestic displays have also earned him two caps for the senior England national team.
