EuroLeague slams Belgrade rivals with heavy fines after derby chaos: Here is what Partizan and Crvena Zvezda must pay
EuroLeague has announced its latest disciplinary sanctions following the incidents that took place during Round 7.
According to the official release, Partizan have been handed fines totalling €49,000 for the use of pyrotechnics, laser pointers, abusive fan behaviour, throwing objects, court invasion, and insufficient security measures.
A partial venue closure has been conditionally suspended for the 2026/27 season in accordance with Article 8 of the Disciplinary Code, and will be enforced should the club commit a repeat violation.
Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have been sanctioned with fines totalling €115,000 alongside a ban on away supporters for their next five road games. The penalties were handed down due to supporter incidents that endangered the physical safety of those in attendance, abusive conduct, the use of laser pointers, repeated offensive fan behaviour, throwing objects, court invasion, and inadequate security measures during the Partizan vs Crvena Zvezda clash.
The red-and-whites will also have to pay €7,000 for offensive chanting during their Round 2 matchup against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Zalgiris were also penalised, receiving a €30,000 fine for displaying banners directed at Olympiacos, along with a suspended one-game capacity reduction to 80%, which includes the closure of specific arena sections.
